There is still a child in us

Many of us when we grow up.... we gain a lot of thins and yet at the same time we lots many too. For example the purity of a child's heart.

They are just so pure and innocent. I remember 2 occasions which display a totally opposite attitude.

First i was on the train the other day and it was quite packed and there is this old lady struggling to balance herself in the train. the seats were full and people just can't be bothered with her. Those who saw her looked away immediatly and constently they were glancing at her direction woundering which "stupid" sole would give up their seats to here. There are another group who were going through mental struggle of giving up the seats or not, it was all written on thier faces. The poor iold lady had to stand through out the whole trip.

Second occasion, it was on the LRT, i was on my way home. As usual it was mostly packed with tired and hungry working adults. There was a mother walking in with a child in her arms and she was carrying a handbag. She tried to squeeze her way through to the seats hoping a kind sole would give up their seat to her but non gave. thus she squeeze though the thick and smelly crowd to the side of the door hoping that it would be easier to unload her handbag during a trip. Juse beside the door there were 2 seats, the mum sit on the left and the litttle boy sit on the right, when the little boy saw that lady, without hesitation he gave up his seat to the that lady. You could see how grateful that lady was.

CHILDISH is often a word that we use to decribe people who purely behave like a child but i have a different defination for this word.

    CHILD IS Happy

Aren't we always complaining that how tired is our life and how i wish that i could be a child again. Isn't all children happy? nothing to worry nothing to care. We grow and things change but only character doesn't. People change inorder to adapt and fused into the environment that they are in, different environment will cultivate different type of people. Thats part of the rule of nature, change in order to survive, but does they change totally or just they way they present themself in front of others? I believe no matter how much a person change, their inner character would still remains.

For example, the case of giving up their seats to the needy, dosen;t they know that giving up the seats to them is the right thing to do. They did but instead of giving the seat straight away they hesitated, there are many questions running in their head." would i look wierd by giving up my seat?","what happen if the person rejected my offer, will i look damm stupid?","i still have a long way to go i think i should just remain there","aiyah other people will give one". Why do all these question surface? most of the time they were thinking of what image would they portray infront of the others, they just simply don't want to look like a fool.

Being a child at differnt age does come with different treatment. when you are practically a child "below 12 years old" what every you did will be sighted as act of cuteness or just simply ignorant and you would be forgived. You will be simply pampared with love.

Acting like a child as an adult would be labled as childish and direct act of imaturity, different people would look at you from different perspective and your would be label with ridiculous nicks for life.

When you aged and your body deteriorates as a result they could not control their body anymore and act just like a child. instead of being pamperd or well taken care of they are treated as a burdan and a bother.

There is always a child in us but does the environment allow us to potray it ?? Even thats so always remember no matter how old we have become we are always young at heart, dun let the child in us vanish.
